WE ARE RANDY AND LYNN COUCH
Originally of the Atlanta area, we made Panama City Beach our home in 2001 and started a new adventure now known as Panama City Golf Carts. The original goal was retirement, but when racing cars and hard work run through your veins, Randy knew better than to plan on sitting still. Having been a business owner all his adult life, Randy had also run Amoco convenience stores for 30+ years prior to coming to Panama City Beach.
When E-Z-GO posted an ad for a dealer in the area, Randy answered, and the rest is history! He opened a shop on Back Beach Road as a one-man-show for a short time. Within a year, Randy and I purchased a large piece of property, moved to the current location, built a new building, and continued to grow! I welcomed customers and stayed busy selling, and renting carts, while Randy and the other technicians serviced, repaired, refurbished, picked-up, delivered, etc.
We added Yamaha to the line up in 2007, offering New and Used carts. Like now, we sold to Utility companies, Gulf Power, Schools, Churches, the various businesses at the Port of Panama City, The Navy Base, Apartment Complexes, Landscaping Companies, Golfers, and of course homeowners looking for recreational carts!
Other familiar faces have joined the team throughout the years; some family, others are considered family! As Panama City and the surrounding areas have seen changes since 2001, Panama City Golf Carts has remained a constant. We have grown where we have been able, but we've stayed true to our roots.
We are a small business, with family values; honesty above all others, communication, and trust! Relationships are important! Customers have been there since the very beginning with us, and we continue to care for not only their charts, but the families we meet. We want to deliver quality products, service excellence, and support our community.
Our mission is simple. Work hard. Treat all people with the same kindness, fairness, and respect. We are lucky enough to work with customers and make their day just by treating them the way we would like to be treated!
Spend a minute with Randy and he will tell you his roots are still true; "Call me old fashioned, but there's no need to advertise, if we do our job right. Word of mouth is our best advertisement!" He should know. He has been doing something right all these years, and we will continue! If you stop by the shop and don't see us around, don't worry, you are in good hands! We are finally enjoying retirement these days! You will still get that good, old fashioned customer service you deserve! It is what we all, at Panama City Golf Carts belive in!
